Getting Started
Every job we ask for a couple things that you can provide so we can ensure the most accurate layout possible:

CAD file for the project from engineer

Control points/ building corner nails

Set of drawings for the job
If you are unable to get the cad file for any reason, we can perform an on site "as built" survey if you have established building corners, walls, foundation block, existing structures. We can create you a cad sketch and layout anchor bolts, embeds, walls, etc per the drawings.
Why We Started Precision Construction Layout
We started Precision Construction Layout after seeing firsthand how often construction projects get slowed down waiting on layout. Surveyors do great work, but their schedules are often packed, and delays can hold up entire phases of a job.

It is the responsibility of the client, general contractor, and/or design professionals to ensure that all plans, dimensions, elevations, and control points are correct prior to layout. Any discrepancies, errors, or omissions discovered in the field should be reported immediately for clarification before proceeding.

Precision Construction Layout shall not be held liable for errors resulting from inaccurate plans, design changes not communicated in writing, disturbed or missing control points, or site conditions beyond our control.

Layout points and markings are to be verified by others prior to construction. Once construction begins, Precision Construction Layout is not responsible for deviations resulting from field installation, equipment operation, or third-party modifications.
By utilizing our services, the client acknowledges and accepts these terms.
Equipment Protection and Liability Clause

Precision Construction Layout utilizes specialized surveying and layout equipment on job sites. The client, general contractor, and all subcontractors are responsible for ensuring that reasonable care is taken to avoid damage, theft, or misuse of this equipment while on site.

Precision Construction Layout shall not be held responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from damaged, moved, or tampered equipment caused by others. Any damage to equipment caused by negligence, heavy machinery, or third-party interference may result in repair or replacement costs being billed to the responsible party.

Any damage caused by site operations, including but not limited to heavy equipment, vehicles, or personnel, will be the financial responsibility of the party at fault.
